My Last Post

Uncategorized No Comments »

This is my last post for the year and I am sad. I have had the best time ever and I made so many new friends. I hate the summer because I miss all of my friends, but I see the ones I am really close to. This year we barely had any homework. My favorite sport this year like always is basketball. This year was fun.

Our Freedom in America

Uncategorized No Comments »

I am glad the United States has a lot of freedom for its people. I am thankfull a lot for our freedom because some countries don’t have any freedom compared to us. I like how our goverment lets us have freedom on quite a bit of things, but don’t let us do the bad stuff. I feel bad for the people in Iran that have to wear the cloth over their face when they might not want to. but, then again I think it might be a part of teir religion.

Hope for This Summer and Beyond

This summer I hope to have a good one. I am going to play basketball and get ready for next season. I am going to do track this summer and soccer in the fall. I decided to do soccer because I have nothing to do this fall. I haven’t played soccer since I was in first or second grade. My friend is also playing with me. I am going to spend time with my family and play with friends. Sometimes we go on a sumer vacation, but I don’t know if we are going yet. I am exited for this summer because I want to sleep in and not have to go to school. Next year is going to be just like any other school year. We wake up in the morning, go to school and etc. I hope to have a good summer and a good school year in 2009-2010.

How the challenge improved my communication skills is by as I use my computer I can talk to other kids from other countries that I couldn’t do without a computer. Blogging is already part of my school because we blog in technology right now. I do want to take part in another challenge because they keep me busy, but sometimes they can be boring.

Seventh Grade Q’s

This year has gone by just like any other year this year. It went good, I made a few new friends. My biggest suprise this year was how it was a lot easier than last year in 6th grade. The achievement I was most proud if was making the basketball (A) team and getting all A’s on my report card all year so far.My wackiest moment of the year was when Isaiah spit a jolly rancher on my hand, it stuck to me and I couldn’t get it off. What I will miss the most from seventh grade is my friends and teachers. But, not the work. What I look forward to the most in 8th grade is seeing my friends and being one year away from high school. I plan to have a good summer break.

The 3 Rs

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle that’s the word on the street. I recycle by recycling pop cans by putting them in the machines and then the machines that recycle them. Our school has a green team that helps the environment by recycling things. People today need to recycle more than in the past so our landfills don’t overflow. I think our earth should last longer. NCAA Lacrosse Championship

Uncategorized 3 Comments »

Ned CrottyThe NCAA lacrosse championship is almost done with. It is down to four teams Duke, Cornell, Virginia, and Syracuse. Virginia crushed Jhons Hopkins this weekend. Cornell beat Princeton 6-4. In the other bracket Duke beat North Carolina their rivals by one point, the score was 12-11. Syracuse beat Maryland 11-6. I don’t know who I want to win the title but, if I had to choose I would choose Duke because they have a good team and a sweet foward Nedd Crotty. I think these games this weekend are going to be good ones.
